There are 3 general types: Enhancement, Production, and Special Runes.
The Runes in Runes of Magic provide different types of bonuses and enhancements. The classes in Runes of Magic fill the traditional MMORPG roles: Tank, Healer, Melee DPS, and Ranged DPS. The other classes are the Mage, Rogue, Scout, and Warrior.
For instance, the Knight is only available to the Humans, Druid and Warden classes are only selectable by an Elf, and only a Dwarf can be a Champion or Warlock. Certain classes are only available to a given race. Players entering Runes of Magic first choose one of the 3 available races. Set in the world of Taborea, there is purportedly over 5,000 quests for players to do in the game. Runes of Magic is a high-fantasy 3D MMORPG.
